I’m a North-Indian gal with an undying love for words and storytelling. And here are the 5 non-negotiables I live by—
Financial Independence for everyone but exceptionally women.
Fake Freedom can temporarily feel like Real Freedom. Don’t be fooled.
Someone somewhere is waiting to feel seen, heard, and understood by your story, SPEAK IT.

And my favorite – Everything happens for a divine reason (& in your best interest). Have faith.
Break the rules, Fight the law…
Coming from a South-Asian background, I always saw my mother taking up all the feminine roles in the house and my father – the masculine.
The male of the house is the “breadwinner” and the female is the “nurturer,” I was always told…
To top it all off – I constantly witnessed my mother self-sabotaging herself by putting her husband, her kids, even her dog before herself…
– Spending years in the same 2 pairs of clothes…
– Eating the leftovers even when there was enough fresh food on the table…
– Taking permission from my father for the smallest of things…
I remember her always rushing us back from my grandparent’s house and saying – “Hurry Up! You don’t wanna be late and make Papa angry”
Ugh! I hated it.
I was furious yet sad to see such a strong confident woman losing her freedom and independence to my father — just ‘cause he was a man?
And worst, not by force but by choice…
That was when I pledged to myself that I would never become my mother…
People would always find my head buried deep inside books…
I never cooked…
I barely cleaned…
(and my poor mother heard all about it from my very opinionated relatives)
I fought, I screamed, I cried, but I never gave in…
I wanted to break this stereotype that had become my worst nightmare and I knew it had to start with me…
I wanted FREEDOM (& Independence)
On a Freedom Quest…
At 5, I topped my school and won a bike (not a ladybird, a freakin’ ranger that was twice my size)
At 17, I started working at an International Training & Recruitment Firm.
At 18, I fell in love with selling and sold my very first digital product worth $10,000.
At 20, I started freelancing and generated 7 figures (INR) in the first year of my business.
At 21, I led my first marketing campaign to cross $100k in sales.
And after running and chasing Freedom & Independence for years, I finally found it.
And this right here was my runner’s high!
Breadwinner, Nurturer, or both – Now I could be whoever I wanted to be…
A Cosmic Download
But turned out, it was not over yet…
After more than 2 years of working behind the scenes in marketing, I noticed a vicious split in the online industry…
My discovery calls with new potential clients started to see a recognizable pattern…
“I have previously worked with an overpriced ad agency but was misled and left on seen on raising questions about their performance & deliverables”
“I have wasted thousands of $$ while working with a marketing firm that gave me zero results”
“I wish I’d written my own launch copy that would’ve conveyed my message better instead of hiring a fancy Copywriter who didn’t even take the time to get to know me and my brand. It’s so sad…”

I was heartbroken.
The internet was flooding with scammy agencies and douchy marketers who gave our industry a bad rap…
To them, you were nothing more than a name in their long list of customers (read: monetary means)
And to add fuel to the fire (that was igniting inside me)
This was the same time when Social media started to overflow with posts titled…
“How I made $50k in just 2 months”
“My students are making 50k to 100k per month. Here’s how”
“7 crores in client revenue. Here’s what I learned”
“I make Lakhs every month – do you also want 1,00,000/month?”
“Earn $100k in the next 10 days”
Do you see what these headlines do to us?
This over-hyped and number-focused selling by douchy marketers and fake gurus of the internet creates a sense of false urgency, desperation, and lack in the lives of people who’re not there yet, simply because they’re at a different stage of their journey (not because they can never be).
This status quo needed to be disrupted.
And this, for me, was my AHA moment – where I found my own #dharma (Purpose)
